DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or from Arusha city, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. You will receive a safari briefing and finalize preparations for your adventure.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart Arusha at 8:30 AM with a packed picnic lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a thrilling game drive in the park, known for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife such as lions, zebras, and prolific bird species.

Overnight: Lodge or tented camp in Tarangire

DAY 3: TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, depart for the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You may stop at Olduvai Gorge (optional), where Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made significant discoveries about human origins. Enjoy a sunset game drive en route before arriving at your lodge.

Overnight: Serengeti Tortilis Camp

DAY 4: FULL-DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Spend a full day on game drives in the vast Serengeti, home to the Great Migration and abundant predators. Expect to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, and various bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your exploration.

DAY 5: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the Serengeti. Witness the endless plains teeming with wildlife. Later, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying en-route game viewing.

Overnight: Karatu Acacia Farm Lodge

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER TO MANYARA

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater is a natural sanctuary home to the Big Five, hippos, flamingos, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch before driving to Lake Manyara for an overnight stay.

DAY 7: FLY TO ZANZIBAR

Enjoy a sunrise game drive in Lake Manyara National Park before transferring to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our guide and transferred to Dream of Zanzibar resort.
