Overview
Begin your adventure with an overnight stay in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s top safari destinations. Your journey kicks off with an exploration of Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, stunning landscapes, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a day of game viewing before heading to your campsite near Lake Manyara.

Next, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife encounters. The crater is home to the Big Five, hippos, flamingos, and more. After an incredible safari experience, you’ll return to Arusha.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or from Arusha city, you will be transferred to a hotel in Arusha. This vibrant town is the perfect starting point for your safari adventure. You will spend the night at a hotel (BB), where you will receive a safari briefing and finalize preparations for your journey into Tanzania’s renowned wildlife destinations.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast at the hotel (08:00 AM), depart from Arusha with packed lunch boxes and drive 120 km to Tarangire National Park. This incredible park is known for its large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife, including lions, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a thrilling game drive and a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park.

In the evening, transfer to your campsite near Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay at Panorama or Haven Nature Camping Site.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha
Rise early for breakfast before departing for Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife reserves. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a full-day game drive, where you will have the opportunity to see the Big Five, as well as zebras, jackals, hippos, flamingos, rhinos, and various antelope species. A picnic lunch will be provided inside the crater as you soak in the breathtaking scenery.

In the late afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
