OVERVIEW

Start your journey with an arrival in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Travel to Tarangire National Park, home to large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. The next day, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO site teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five. Conclude your safari with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife, before returning to Arusha.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or from Arusha city, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Here, you will have time to rest and prepare for your upcoming safari. A briefing will be provided for the next day's adventure.

Overnight: Hotel in Arusha (BB - Bed & Breakfast)

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast at 08:00 AM, depart from Arusha and drive 120 km to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its massive elephant herds and the scenic Tarangire River, the park is also home to buffaloes, lions, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. After a full day of wildlife encounters, drive to your tented lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER EXPLORATION

After breakfast, depart early and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the famous Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

Expect to see lions, elephants, rhinos, wildebeests, jackals, hippos, flamingos, and other diverse wildlife in this breathtaking caldera. This area is known for offering one of the best chances to spot the Big Five in a single day.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending in the late afternoon. Transfer to your campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – RETURN TO ARUSHA

After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. This scenic park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, hippos, giraffes, and elephants.

Enjoy a game drive through the park, observing both wildlife and its stunning landscapes.

In the afternoon, return to Arusha, marking the end of your incredible 4-day safari.
