8-Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Lodge Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

• Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and head to our office for a brief introduction.
• Drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping for a scenic view, followed by lunch in Narok Town.
• Continue to Masai Mara, where you'll check-in and enjoy an evening game drive.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

• After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
• Explore the vast plains of Masai Mara, home to diverse wildlife and bird species.
• Visit the famous crossing point during the Great Migration, if in season.
• Optional activities include a visit to a local Maasai village or a nature walk.
• Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

• Start the day with an early morning game drive to capture the sunrise and track wild cats in action.
• Return for breakfast, then leave for Lake Nakuru National Park, stopping at Lake Naivasha for an optional activity at an extra cost.
• Arrive in Nakuru and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

• After breakfast, enjoy a half-day game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its rhinos and flamingos (seasonal).
• Spot the "Big Three" (rhinos, lions, and leopards) during your drive.
• Leave the park and head to Nairobi, with lunch en route.
• Arrive in Nairobi and check-in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Nairobi to Arusha

• After breakfast, transfer to the Nairobi-Arusha shuttle bus for the journey to Arusha, Tanzania.
• Check-in at the Ambassador Hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay.
• The hotel is booked on a bed and breakfast basis; dinner is on your own.

Day 6: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

• After breakfast, meet your driver guide for a briefing and head to Serengeti National Park with a lunch stop along the way.
• Upon arrival, check in at your lodge in the Central Serengeti and embark on a game drive.
• Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater National Park

• Start the day with a morning game drive in Serengeti.
• Afterward, travel to Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy, with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge to visit the archaeological museum.
• Arrive in Ngorongoro in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha or Zanzibar

• After breakfast, head out for a half-day game drive at Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Spot diverse wildlife, including black rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, and wildebeest.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater rim before ascending to the main gate.
• Drive back to Arusha for drop-off at a budget hotel or the airport for a flight to Zanzibar or your next destination.
• Dinner is on your own, and the hotel stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
